Your Control Panel
Every Witchly.host server comes with access to our control panel at Dashboard. This powerful interface gives you full control over your game server without needing any technical expertise.
Console
The console is your real-time window into your server. You can see server output as it happens, type commands directly, and monitor player activity. The console also displays startup progress so you know exactly when your server is ready for players.
File Manager
The built-in file manager lets you browse, edit, upload, and download server files directly from your browser. You can edit configuration files with the integrated code editor, create new files and folders, and manage your server’s directory structure. For larger file transfers, we recommend using SFTP instead.
Databases
If your game or plugins require a database (common with Minecraft plugins like LuckPerms or Essentials), you can create MySQL databases directly from the panel. Each database comes with its own credentials and can be managed independently.
Schedules
Automate routine tasks with the schedule system. Common uses include:
- Automatic restarts — Schedule daily restarts to keep performance optimal
- Backup creation — Run backups at specific times
- Custom commands — Execute any server command on a schedule (announcements, world saves, etc.)
Schedules support cron-style timing, giving you precise control over when tasks run.
Backups
Create and manage server backups through the panel. You can create manual backups at any time or set up automated backups via schedules. Backups capture your entire server state including world data, configurations, and plugins. Restoring from a backup is a single-click operation. Backup limits vary by plan.
Subusers
Share access to your server with friends or staff without giving them your account credentials. The subuser system lets you invite other users by email and assign granular permissions. You can control exactly what each subuser can do — from viewing the console to managing files, databases, or backups.
Server Settings
Access startup parameters, resource usage graphs, and network allocation details. You can see your server’s CPU, RAM, and disk usage in real time, along with your assigned IP address and port.
