How the Witchly Coin Economy Works
Witchly.host features a built-in coin economy that powers the free tier and rewards you for being an active member of the platform. By earning and spending coins, you can renew your servers, upgrade your resources, and grow your hosting without spending any money. This guide explains every aspect of the system, from earning your first coins to strategically upgrading your resource pool.
What Are Witchly Coins?
Witchly Coins are a virtual currency earned through platform activity. They are not purchased with real money — they are earned by using the dashboard, logging in regularly, and inviting friends. Coins are used for two key purposes:
- Renewing free tier servers (500 coins per 7-day renewal)
- Purchasing resource upgrades in the Witchly Store
Every coin transaction is tracked in your account history, so you always have a clear record of what you have earned and spent.
Earning Coins
There are three ways to earn coins on Witchly.host.
Passive Siphoning
Visit the Earn page in the dashboard at Dashboard. While you are on that page, you earn 1 coin per minute. There is a daily cap of 250 coins from passive siphoning.
Keep the Earn page open in a browser tab while you play on your server to accumulate coins in the background. You need to stay on the Earn page specifically — just being logged into the dashboard elsewhere does not count for passive earning.
Tips for passive siphoning:
- Open the Earn page in a tab and leave it running while you play.
- You will hit the 250-coin daily cap after about 4 hours and 10 minutes.
- This is a reliable, effortless way to build your balance every day.
Daily Ritual
Every day you log in to the dashboard, you can claim your daily ritual bonus. The base reward is 50 coins, but consecutive daily logins build a streak that increases your reward up to 350 coins per day.
To claim your daily ritual:
- Visit Dashboard and sign in.
- Claim your daily ritual bonus from the dashboard.
Maintaining your streak is one of the most effective ways to build your coin balance. Even if you only have a minute, a quick login to claim your daily bonus adds up significantly over weeks and months.
Referral Rewards
Referring new users to Witchly.host earns 500 coins for both you and the person you referred. Here is how it works:
- Find your unique referral link in the dashboard.
- Share it with friends, community members, or anyone interested in game server hosting.
- When someone signs up using your referral link, both of you receive 500 coins.
Referral rewards are a great way to earn a large number of coins quickly. If you run a gaming community or create content, sharing your referral link can generate a steady stream of bonus coins.
Server Renewals
Free tier servers run for 7 days at a time. When the renewal period is up, you spend 500 coins to renew your server for another 7 days. If you do not renew, your server will be suspended and eventually removed.
To avoid manual renewals, purchase the Soul Bond upgrade from the store for 5,000 coins. With Soul Bond, your server automatically renews every 7 days as long as you have enough coins in your balance.
The Resource Pool
Every Witchly account has a Resource Pool that starts with a base allocation:

Your resource pool tracks your total available resources across four categories. When you deploy a free tier server, you allocate resources from this pool. When you spend coins in the store, you are adding resources to this pool permanently.
The key advantage of the resource pool model is flexibility. Your total resources are shared across all your free servers. If you run two servers, for example, you can allocate more RAM to one and less to the other based on their needs, as long as the total does not exceed your pool.
Spending Coins in the Store
The Witchly Store is where coins become tangible server upgrades. Access it through the dashboard at Dashboard.

How Purchasing Works
- Open the Store from the dashboard navigation.
- Browse the available resource upgrades and their coin costs.
- Select the upgrade you want and confirm the purchase.
- The resource is added to your pool immediately.
- Allocate the new resources to your servers as needed.
All coin transactions are final. Once you purchase an upgrade, the coins are deducted from your balance and the resources are added to your pool permanently.
Grimoire Codes
Witchly admins occasionally create Grimoire Codes — special promotional codes that can be redeemed in the store for bonus coins. Keep an eye on our Discord announcements at Discord for these.
Strategic Tips for the Coin Economy
Prioritize based on your bottleneck. If your server is lagging due to low tick rates, CPU upgrades will help the most. If you are running out of space for world files and mods, invest in disk. Pay attention to what your server actually needs rather than upgrading everything evenly.
Secure renewals first. Before saving up for upgrades, make sure you have enough coins to keep your server running. A 7-day renewal costs 500 coins. With daily rituals and passive siphoning, you can earn well over 500 coins per week, leaving plenty for upgrades.
Daily rituals compound over time. Even if you are not actively managing your server every day, a quick login to claim your daily bonus builds your balance consistently. Streaks increase your reward up to 350 coins per day, making this the single most valuable earning method.
Refer actively. If you have friends who are looking for game server hosting, referral bonuses are the fastest way to earn a large number of coins. Both parties benefit, making it a genuine win-win.
Save up for Soul Bond. At 5,000 coins, Soul Bond is a significant investment, but it removes the stress of manual renewals. Once you have it, your server renews automatically as long as you keep earning coins.
Tracking Your Coins
Your current coin balance is visible on the dashboard at all times. You can also review your full transaction history, which shows:
- Every coin deposit (passive siphoning, daily rituals, referral rewards, Grimoire Codes)
- Every coin expenditure (server renewals, store upgrades)
- Timestamps for all transactions
This transparency lets you see exactly how your coins flow in and out, helping you plan your upgrades strategically.

Q: Do coins work on Elite servers? A: The coin economy is for the free tier — earning coins, upgrading your resource pool, and renewing free servers. Elite servers are managed through Stripe subscriptions and don’t require coin renewal.

Q: Can I transfer coins to another user? A: No. Coins are tied to your account and cannot be transferred.
