What “Suspended” actually means
A suspended server is one that has temporarily stopped running because its 7-day renewal cycle expired without a renewal. Critically:
- Your world, configs, plugins, and files are NOT deleted. They’re preserved on disk exactly as they were.
- Players currently connected get disconnected. They can’t reconnect until the server is back up.
- The server card on your dashboard shows a Suspended badge with a Renew button.
Suspension is recoverable. Deletion (which happens after the grace period) is not.
The grace period
After suspension, you have a grace window during which you can still recover the server by renewing. The exact length isn’t published precisely — partly because it can shift based on platform load, partly because the right answer is always “renew as soon as you notice.” But it’s measured in days, not hours.
If you log into your dashboard and see a Suspended server card, act now. There is no benefit to waiting.
How to recover (3 steps)
Step 1: Top up your coin balance
You need enough coins to cover the server’s renewal — 500 for a starter server, more if you’ve upgraded your pool (the exact amount is shown on the server card). If you don’t have them:
- Daily ritual — Claim today’s daily reward (50–350 coins depending on streak).
- Earn page — 5–10 minutes on the earn page nets you another 50–100 coins.
- Coupon code — Redeem any active promo or partner code in the Coupons section.
If you’re short, the daily ritual + a quick earn session will usually get you there in under 15 minutes.
Step 2: Click Renew on the server card
Go to your dashboard, find the suspended server, click the Renew button. The dashboard:
- Deducts the server’s renewal amount from your balance
- Pushes the server’s renewal date 7 days forward
- Restarts the server automatically
You don’t need to manually start the server after renewing — it powers back on as part of the renewal flow.
Step 3: Verify
Open the server’s manage page → Console tab. You should see the server starting up just like a normal restart. Once you see your usual “Server is ready” message (or your game’s equivalent), connect and confirm everything is intact.
What if I miss the grace period?
If a suspended server isn’t renewed within the grace window, a daily background job permanently deletes it. At that point:
- All server files are removed
- The server card disappears from your dashboard
- Your server slot in the resource pool becomes available again
This is irreversible. No backups can be restored, no support ticket can recover it. The grace period is the last chance.
If your server has already been deleted, your only path is to deploy a fresh server. You can re-create it (any server after your first carries a remake fee equal to its share of your weekly renewal), but its world, configs, and history are gone.
How to avoid suspension in the future
Three options, in order of effectiveness:
1. Buy auto-renew (5,000 coins, one-time). Once unlocked, your servers auto-renew on their expiry date as long as your balance covers the renewal. The most reliable solution.
2. Pin a daily reminder. Five minutes on the earn page or one daily-ritual claim per day funds your renewals indefinitely. Make it a habit.
3. Enable email + in-app notifications. The dashboard surfaces upcoming-renewal alerts in the notification bell, and you can enable email reminders in Settings under notification preferences.
Common questions
“How long is the grace period?” Long enough to recover from a normal absence, short enough that resources rotate back to active users. We don’t publish exact numbers because they can change. Always renew as soon as you notice a suspension.
“Will my players’ data still be there after recovery?” Yes. World data, player inventories, plugin databases — everything is preserved exactly as it was the moment before suspension.
“Can I download my files before suspension if I’m going to miss the grace period?” Yes. Use SFTP or the in-browser File Manager to download anything you want to keep. You’ll lose the live server, but your files survive on your local drive.
“What if I’m travelling for two weeks and can’t access my dashboard?” Buy auto-renew before you leave, or accept that your server will likely suspend — and renew when you get back if you’re still in the grace window. If you’re going to be away longer than the grace period, download a backup of your files before leaving.
